I’m currently planning a trip in which we will travel up the west coast whilst exploring the history of pre-clearance Scotland.
During the clearances of the 18th century, many Scots were forced to emigrate to the ‘new world’ and this tour is designed for their descendants.
However all are welcome, especially those interested in Land Justice and the impacts of the Industrial Revolution.
Come with me and explore Scotland’s crafts and their history, a country transformed by wool, cotton, jute, and tweed.
